Edmonton Rhythmic Gymnastics

Our Club

Founded in 1978 in the heart of the city, Edmonton Rhythmic Gymnastics Club is a non-profit organization offering a high level competitive program that produces many gymnasts representing Alberta and Canada in major games and events.

World Class Programs

Our athletes have qualified to compete at World Championships, World University Games, Four Continents, Pan-American Games, Elite Canada, Canadian National Championships, Western Canadian Champions, Provincial Championships and Invitationals. They have consistently earned top rankings within their respective categories including selection to the Canadian National Team. Many of our gymnasts are National Team members and/or National, Western and Provincial Champions.

World Championships

ERSGA’s competitive program is lead by Head Coach, Judit Berecz, a two-time Hungarian World Championship competitor. She has been the moving force behind the growth of high performance rhythmic gymnastics in Edmonton and Alberta. Under her guidance, our club’s gymnasts represented Canada at the World Championships several times. In recognition of her outstanding work, Judit, was inducted to the Edmonton Sports Hall of Fame in June 2013. She is the first person to receive this honour in our sport, in the city of Edmonton.

Edmonton Rhythmic Gymnastics Club takes great pride in moulding strong young women of tomorrow through the beauty and grace of our fascinating Olympic sport.
